Douglas Covert, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Associated Retinal Consultants, serving patients in Northern Michigan.
Dr. Covert completed his MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received his medical degree with distinction from the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Covert completed his internship at Aurora St. Luke’s and his residency, chief residency, and fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Covert is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. He has authored over twenty articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
