Meet Dr. Randhawa

Sandeep Randhawa, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Associated Retinal Consultants, serving patients in southeast Michigan. He specializes in vitreoretinal diseases.

Dr. Randhawa is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and has an active clinical practice. He graduated valedictorian with honors and distinctions from Christian Medical College, India. After moving to the United States, he completed his Ophthalmology residency at University of Washington, Seattle and a two-year comprehensive fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco. He also completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Randhawa has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and also many book chapters. He has presented numerous times in national retina meetings. He is a scientific reviewer for retina and ophthalmology journals and a principal investigator and co-investigator in many clinical trials. He has received multiple honors during his career and was inducted into the Retina Society in recognition of his contributions.

He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
