Dr. Yichun Teng earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and her Medical Degree from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Dr. Teng completed her Preliminary Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medical College – Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. She then completed her Ophthalmology Residency at New York Medical College – Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, where she served as Chief Resident. She went on to complete a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Teng is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has presented her research nationally and internationally and has authored and co-authored numerous articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
